This tab provides scrap-book and biographical information about people in the family trees. This information can be access by clicking on:
Online Biographies.
The information is organised according to segments of the tree (from Family Tree tab) so there is one folder for each segment. Within each folder there are a number of subfolders with one for each individual for which we currently have information. In some cases, there is also a folder for a complete family group.
Once you click on a segment folder, the list of subfolders will be displayed and this will tell you the people for whom we currently have information. By clicking on a subfolder, you will have access to the information that we have associated for that individual. For example, if you are a descendent of the "04" segment, simply click on that folder and the list of people within that folder will appear. Please note that we currently do not have any information for some segments so when you click on that segment the only subfolder will be to return to the previous page.
We hope that this hierarchy will allow users to find relevant information as quickly as possible. We expect this structure to evolve as we receive feedback from users and as the amount of information grows. If you cannot find people that you are interested in, we will be pleased to help so please contact us via the "Contact Us" tab.
With this structure, we can readily add other people and other information as it comes to hand. If you would like to contribute photographic and other information, please let us know via the "Contact Us" tab.
Beside the information published on the website, please note that we also have additional information which is copyright or more personal in nature. For example, copies of original Wills are often held in National Archives and are copyrighted so we cannot place on our website. If you have particular interest in an individual, please contact us in case we have more information.
